We are retired teachers who have been exchanging since 2001 when we swapped to the UK to teach for a year. Since then we have swapped successfully both in Australia and overseas and have had nothing but great experiences. We are active people, enjoying walking, swimming, bike riding, tennis. We also have a kayak and stand up paddle board that are great fun on the creeks around us. We also love books and music and really enjoy discovering any place we visit.

We have recently moved to this area and love where we live. Our townhouse is in a small complex at the top of a hill which gives us great views of the mountains and the ocean. The house is light and airy. It has 2 bedrooms with queen size beds and the 3rd is used as a music room/office, but it can easily be transformed into a bedroom, if necessary. There is a small courtyard which has a lounge, a bbq and a veggie garden. The kitchen has all the necessary mod cons and is very functional. There is a smart TV and we have very good internet connectivity. It is a very easy house to live in.

Coffs Harbour is a great destination if you like outdoor activities and is only about 40 minutes from the world heritage listed Dorrigo National Park. Nearby, are the interesting towns of Bellingen, Sawtell and Woolgoolga, all offering something a bit different. We are located walking distance to the harbour and surf beaches. Our house is walking distance to town but there is also a bus service. Within a 2-3 minute walk is the vibrant jetty strip, with cafes, restaurants and a pub. The theatre is also closeby where both films and live performances are held regularly. Nearby is the creek walk or cycle track, which takes you into town. We are walking distance to the train station and close to the airport. Coffs also has direct flights to Sydney and Melbourne and is about halfway between Sydney and Brisbane.
