Home exchange and house swap holiday accommodation in Iluka, North Coast of NSW, NSW
We are a retired couple with a blank page calendar. Therefore we are open to any offers. Anywhere, of any duration, including short notice. We have undertaken 2 year long house swaps, 1 in the USA & 1 in England. These were work related exchanges. We have undertaken many exchanges, a few of 3 month duration. We have also undertaken many house sits for friends including a farm sit involving 600 sheep. All have been extremely successful. We believe this came about due to us respecting the other parties house and they respecting ours. We try to travel overseas each year (various times) and the house would be available at these times. We would be available to do the return stay whenever it suited you e.g. when you're away somewhere else.

Our house is in a quiet, beachside village. It has a fenced off swimming pool. It consists of 5 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms but 1 bedroom & 1 bathroom won't be available for the swap. The 4 available bedrooms each contain a queen size bed. The available bathroom area has a shower, bath, toilet cubicle and sink . The Living area consists of a kitchen, breakfast bench & coffee table, a sunken loungeroom /TV and dining space - all open plan. There is a sunken study connected to the living area via concertina glass doors.There are many artworks and bric-a brac items throughout the house. There are two separately fenced small yards.

Lewis and I have had two terrific swaps with Judy and Mark. Their delightfully furnished home is wonderfully peaceful and relaxing. Iluka is a great place for walks,cycling, swimming and generally hanging out. The beaches and river are pristine and dining out options are impressive for such a small town - time spent there is a little slice of heaven. We particularly love the freedom of walking and cycling everywhere. Yamba is just a ferry ride across the river if you fancy a wider range of dining and shopping options. Judy and Mark are excellent hosts, we have thoroughly enjoyed being in their home and opening our home to them in return.

We had a most enjoyable time at Mark and Judy's comfortable home in the very picturesque fishing village of Iluka. A highlight was the ferry ride across the Clarence River to Yamba on a glorious day. We were able to meet up with Mark and Judy half way on our return which was great as one usually doesn't have this pleasure. Would certainly recommend a visit,
