Thank you Pamela & Terry for the experience of living in Brighton in your lovely spacious and comfortable home. Their home is ideally located moments by car from the beach and peaceful coffee & restaurant strip. Parking is never a problem. As an expat Adelaidian, having the convenience and comfort of the Brighton Train station minutes away by car, makes this part of Adelaide unique. It was a wonderful way to travel to the CBD and then walk or use trams to explore museums, galleries, parks & Botanic Gardens, the River Torrens foreshore & of course the Popeye ferry. Ideal also if you are attending an event at the Adelaide Oval, Festival Centre or Casino - all located near Adelaide Railway Station. Central Markets was a must visit - go there on an empty stomach and take a shopping bag - you won't leave without produce. Our swapper's home has a tranquil and large outdoor garden setting protected from the elements with an expansive pergola. Pamela & Terry went above and beyond with the care and maintenance of our home and garden. Meeting them on our last evening before departure from Adelaide was a pleasure. They have many interesting tales.

We had a great week in Adelaide staying at Pamela and Terry's spotless home.We appreciated the gas wall furnace that kept us warm at night (we stayed in May) and the large en-suite The house is in a lovely suburb close to the beach and a short walk to city train. We swapped cars and their clean and reliable sedan enabled us to visit wine regions close to Adelaide. We came home to a clean and well looked after home and car. We recommend Pamela and Terry to all. Mike & Pauline Morris

Pamela and Terry are the perfect house swappers ! They really looked after the house and it was spotless on our return. Even though they came in winter they were very adventurous and made the most of their stay in England. They managed to see so many areas and different attractions that it has put us to shame about how little we have travelled in our own country !! As dates did not quite coincide, we were able to spend time with them which was quite delightful ! We are really looking forward to seeing them again very soon !

Pamela & Terry have a beautiful home situated near the beach in South Brighton. Truly a happy family home and Leslie & I are grateful to them for sharing their home with us. We explored everything that we came to Adelaide to see. We particularly enjoyed the Adelaide Hills only minutes from their home. We have become good freinds through this Simultaneous Exchange and discovered that they are accomplished Ball Room Dancers as their many trophies in their home will attest. We have no hesitation to recommend these hosts and their home.

Pamela and Terry's home is clean, spacious and comfortable. In a good position for the beach, city and Fleurieu Peninsula. There is a new beaut. shopping centre 5 mins. drive away(or 10 min.walk)The train station is a 15 min.walk(8 min. drive), with regular trains taking just 30 mins into the heart of Adelaide. Adelaide has so much to offer year round. A huge range of affordable entertainment, parklands, cycle ways, Botanic Gardens, Art Gallery, Museum etc etc and of course lots of shops in the Mall. The beaches are endless, just a 20 min. walk from the house or 8 min. drive. Pamela and Terry are a very friendly couple who made us feel very welcome. Many thanks Pamela and Terry for the delicious Chicken meals, the wine and chocs.

Was a great swap with Pam and Terri, their lovely home well situated SW of Adelaide, South Australia in South Brighton. Their home had everything needed for a wonderful stay, including wifi internet which was very helpful. It was an excellent base for us. We love houseswapping to Adelaide as it gives us the opportunity to catch up with family and friends whilst still giving us the space to chill out when we need a break from it all. We definitely recommend Pam and Terri's place for a houseswap. Thank-you guys. N&J. :)

Pamela and Terry offer a clean and comfortable home on a quiet street in a beautiful suburb of Adelaide, South Brighton. Pamela had left us a delicious meal of Moroccan lamb shanks and a bottle of wine. They encouraged us to eat some oranges and lemons from their fruit trees. South Brighton is a wonderful place to stay. It's an easy one mile walk to the Metro station providing access to the CBD of Adelaide without driving. You will find Adelaide to be a very clean, friendly, and interesting city. We enjoyed the South Australian Museum, the Rundle Mall, the Adelaide Central Market, a cruise on Torrens river, and much more. Walk another half a mile past the Brighton Metro station, and you are at Brighton Beach, where you can relax on the white sand or eat and drink at one of the many excellent restaurants along Jetty Rd. The Esplanade road along the seashore is an excellent place to walk and explore. There is an excellent walking trail from Hallett Cove to Brighton Beach. There is a large food market very near the end of their street as well as more excellent restaurants—Charminar (Indian) Vientiane (Thai), and a french pastry shop. We enjoyed walking in the neighborhood and seeing all the beautiful roses in many of the gardens along the way. The huge West field-Marion Mall, with cinemas and dozens of stores and markets, is also within walking distance. They supplied us with a clean and reliable car, which we drove to a few locations outside Adelaide—Mt Lofty Botanical Garden, Kangaroo Island, and Barossa Valley and Mcclaren Vale wine regions. For navigation, we installed new SIM cards from Optus in our phones. The cell phone service in the Adelaide area is very reliable and Google Maps worked well for navigation. I have to also comment on their courage and thoughtfulness during a disaster that happened to our area when they were visiting. During the second week of their stay, a wildfire (bush fire) broke out which burned over 5000 homes. It was the worst fire disaster in California history. They had to evacuate and feared that our house would burn. Instead of rushing back to Australia, Pamela and Terry stayed in the area and watched out for our home and cars while living under stressful conditions. Their courage in the face of such a disaster indicates the quality of their character. As the fire danger became less severe, they were able to complete their one-month visit. Pamela and Terry left our home and car very clean and tidy. Moreover, they left a lasagna casserole in the refrigerator for us. That was a very thoughtful and generous, and we appreciated having a dinner ready when we arrived back home after many hours of flying. Julie and I thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful house swap with Pamela and Terry and would highly recommend a swap with them in South Brighton, near Adelaide, Australia.

We met up with Pamela and Terry at our City Airport. Felt very comfortable from the onset. We exchanged vehicle keys and were on our way. Their lovely home is conveniently located to Beach and easy access to major freeways. We thoroughly enjoyed our first nights dinner and desert prepared and ready to heat. The home offered us a comfortable stay with heaps of room both indoor and out. Everything easily accessible. Love South Australia, from the quaint town of Hahndoorf (could easily live there) to the rolling hills in the Barossa Valley. As we had a 13 yo with us there were plenty to keep him occupied, climbing Mega Structures, the wonderful SA Aquatic Pool and the Beach House at Glenelg to name a few. Adelaide city offers an array of street entertainment and good shopping along the Mall. The Historic buildings around Adelaide are beautifully restored. On return home our house was left immaculate (plus another meal prepared for us) and we would thoroughly recommend a swap with Pamela and Terry who have become new friends through this wonderful House Swap. Thank you for everything.
