Home exchange and house swap holiday accommodation in Mount Nelson, Mt Nelson is part of "Hobart", TAS
I am single and retired from working as a microbiologist. I enjoy playing croquet and MahJong, and at home I play with my watercolour, oil paints and pastel sticks and produce a few "masterpieces". In addition, I think that I am actually writing an autobiography. I would prefer to swap with another single or couple. I am a quiet tidy person, except when I am painting, and like to explore my surroundings and art galleries. I prefer country, small towns and parks to cities for the peace and quiet, and communication with nature. I am a deaf person, but a talking one, in English, and sign language is mostly a mystery to me.

My modest house with a large garden and renovated kitchen is located on a mountain in Hobart, and has an excellent view of the Derwent River. There are walking trails on the mountain, and there is the signal station for a better view. The house is often warmer than the CBD, as the sun shines on the mountain when the CBD is in fog in winter. The house is on a bus route and the CBD is only 10 mins away by car. There are several restaurants in North Hobart, not far from the CBD, and in Salamanca Place, where the Saturday market is held. Hobart is an excellent base to explore the Huon Valley to the south, the Mount Field National park to the west, and Port Arthur to the north-east.

Great house swap - apologies for not having written this before! Clean, comfortable home in a wonderful location in Hobart. Car exchange worked well. We really enjoyed our three and a half weeks in Tasmania. Looking forward to doing the same again in 2019. Jessica hope you want to visit Bribie Island again.
