We are a retired couple Barry a keen wood worker and ex school manual arts teacher. Pam is retired TAFE admin secretary As a couple we enjoy a busy time in retirement being involved in many club activities ie. Folk music, Toastmasters , woodwork, quilting, and Probus To keep our aging bones active we walk, swim, cycle and sail regularly And of course we enjoy travel. and have travelled to France (speak French) England USA and Canada and are looking forward to many more trips and swaps.

Our home is a typical federation timber workers cottage that has been extended with many charming original features,leadlight windows ornate ceilings, etc.. It is very comfortable and easy care. We have a back yard and entertaining BBQ area. There are 3 bicycles and camping equipment available.

Our House is centrally located for a Sydney stay We can walk to Rail, Ferry and bus and it is just 25 minutes to the centre of Sydney by train or a very pleasant 45 minute ferry ride on the Parramatta River.to Sydney Opera House.
Surf beaches are an easy 40 minute drive away
Nearby we have 2 major shopping centres and very convenient local shops. If you are into eating out we are spoilt for choice all within walking distance.
For activity and exercise there is off road cycling and walking by the river canoeing and sailing on the River and 2 golf courses nearby, as well as an aquatic centre for lap training ,water slide and wave riding.
The Homebush Bay 2000 Olympic site is just a 20 minute off road riverside cycle away, and there are 40 klm of off road cycling tracks, around the Olympic site. Also plenty of activities, exhibitions, pubs ,restaurants and coffee shops.
