Hi there! We are a family of three. My wife and I are in our mid 50s and we have a beautiful 17 year old daughter who loves playing violin, piano and ballet dancing. I am a school principal and my wife is a high school music teacher. We enjoy travel, golf, reading, theatre, walking, serving in our church and BBQs with our family, friends and wonderful neighbours. We LOVE living in Lake Macquarie where we live just a short walk away from the lake, and l.5 hours from Sydney. From our local airport you can fly to Melbourne, Brisbane, Gold Coast and Canberra in around 60 minutes. The world famous Hunter Valley Vineyards are an hour's drive away and several stunning beaches are just minutes away.

A tad over one hour's easy freeway drive to Sydney, our recently renovated house is located one block from the shores and parks of beautiful Lake Macquarie and five minutes drive from the ocean. It is a unique house which is a characterful and large (270 square metres) with 3 reception areas, including a `Queenslander' glass room, 3 bedrooms plus a large study, a parents' retreat and 2.5 bathrooms. Our property is well known for its big leafy garden with picturesque fountain, lamp posts and outdoor swimming pool (just under 1000 square metres). Also has huge double lock-up garage, ducted air conditioning and includes loads of off-street parking. We have delightful neighbours of varying ages (young families to retirees) who all look out for each other and will welcome you with outstretched arms. We LOVE our unique house and will look after yours as though it was our own.
