Home exchange and house swap holiday accommodation in Tecoma, The Hills, VIC
I am a keen house swapper. My children and I used to successfully do swaps years ago when they were still at home with me. Now they are grown up with children of their own. I would like us to be able to share holidays together sometimes and this method presents a wonderful opportunity. We are a very respectful family and we would take excellent care of your property. I am a high school teacher so Victorian school holidays are good for me.

The house is very close to a national forest and it is set in a large well-established garden. The deck gives access to relaxing garden vistas and sunshine. There is also an outdoor lounge area set up with a fire pit and barbecue. The house is decorated in a cottage style referencing French Provincial. The ducted heating makes it very cosy in cold weather. The ducted evaporative cooling tempers any heat in summer. The open plan kitchen and family room encourages a happy sense of unity. The large lounge has a high raked ceiling that adds to the sense of space. The two white bathrooms have recently been renovated so are in pristine condition. There is a king size single bed, a double bed and a single bed that has a trundle that can convert it to a double bed.
The house has many toys for children of varying ages and a high chair for an infant upon request. It is a very comfortable home for a small family but can also make a quiet, romantic retreat for a couple.

The house is near a national forest with soaring gum trees. There are quaint villages nearby that tourists love as there are many places for afternoon tea and dinner. There are many antique shops as well as arts and crafts. Regular markets are available. There are walking tracks and cultivated gardens to enjoy. There are stunning views of the country and city. There is a famous vintage steam train which is a favourite with all ages.
You will enjoy the invigorating fresh air!
However, also the city is an easy hour away by train or car, so inner suburban experiences can be enjoyed as well.

Robin and I did a house/car swap in Dec/Jan. Communication was easy, and we both enjoyed our swaps. Robin cared for my Cat, Ali, while she was there and we looked after her two Cats as well. I would recommend Robin to anyone wanting to do a swap in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges.

Robin has a fabulous house on Mt Dandenong surrounded by large forests with little villages dotted around a magnificent scenic tourist drive. Awesome place to recharge! We went bike riding and bush walking along with visits to nurseries, galleries and cafes. Plenty to do and see. We can highly recommend Devonshire tea just about everywhere!
