Highly experienced swappers! I have been swapping houses since I was a child, before we had the internet and my parents would have to list their house in a magazine!!! We are Alex, Daughter (11) and Son (9) Our home is located in the beautiful Byron Shire in the town of Ocean Shores. We are 20km from the popular tourist hot spot of Byron Bay and only 3kms for the gorgeous little town of Brunswick Heads. We are also only 2kms from the nearest beach and 100m from an amazing playground/park! We are surrounded by a great array of amazing markets including all the local fresh produce at the local farmers markets which are on multiple times per week. We offer a 3 bedroom house with 2 bathrooms. Master bedroom contains King size bed and kids rooms contain single beds. We have a small fully fenced rare garden.

A good size family home with 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms (Master bed with king size bed, Kids bedrooms has single beds, 4th bedroom is an office and could be used with a fold away foam mattress.
The bathrooms are newly renovated.
Kitchen on the older and smaller side, but adequate.
We are situated next to an amazing park with new playground, waterlily park and 2km from the beach.
We are in a lovely quiet street.

We have two small dogs we prefer to holiday with us if possible. We are happy for people to bring their dogs with them to stay at our house as long as they are house trained. Dogs not allowed in the bedrooms. We do not have a fenced garden. Dog beaches.

We enjoyed our swap with Alex and her family immensely. The house is beautifully situated backing onto bush while overlooking the valley. I really enjoyed the peace and tranquility just taking in the views while on the other hand, the proximity to Waterlily Park with its playground and gym equipment gave us the opportunity to work on those extra Christmas-kilos... The pool was no hassle at all (We don't have our own pool, so I was a bit worried there) and needless to say, it was a big hit with the kids! The house was neat and tidy and easy to care for. The kitchen was well stocked and all equipment in good working order. We all agree with Alex and family, this was our best swap experience to date and we would definitely enjoy another swap in the future. :-)
