Home exchange and house swap holiday accommodation in Kambah, ACT
Retired teacher. I live in suburban Canberra. Near a golf course, bicycle path and bus route. I cycle, walk, play Table tennis and mind my grandchildren - 7 to date. I usually try to get in one European or other overseas trip a year. I have decided to explore more regional areas also - more of Australia and New Zealand. I usually travel with friends 1-2 or my sister - depending who wants to go where I want to go.

I changed my large 5 bedroom house into two , 2 bedroom apartments. My end is larger - it has a study and walk through robe. It also has the whole backyard and garage with roller door. There is also a separate toilet near the living area. The main bedroom is at the back of the house so no noises disturb my rest at night - or at other times as the current tenants at the front are a 32 and 34 year old married couple who are quiet and very sensible. Their child will be 2 in April 2022. I have a treadmill, exercise bike and foot peddler for use as well as a bicycle for cycling on the many Canberra cycle paths.

The wonderful holiday in Canberra. A short drive to the city centre but the house swap including a car and the very private back yard and patio was a bonus for breakfast in the sun. Wendy was so accommodating and welcoming. Everything we could want at Wendys place.

Thanks Wendy for our first swap. We loved visiting Canberra & playing the tourist. The house was lovely, everything we needed was there. Extremely neat, clean & tidy in a nice quiet location, easily accessible to all things Canberra.
