We are a fun loving couple that enjoy travelling - our 3 boys are also full of adventure. My husband is a Doctor at the local hospital and I'm studying to be an art therapist. We joined several years ago and have had some fabulous experiences in Australia and overseas.

Our house is sunny and contemporary - it's a split level home with open plan living / kitchen area with large deck overlooking our 10 metre heated pool with valley views - the house benefits from north easterly breezes ,which makes it comfortable on summer days.The master bedroom and ensuite is off the main living area as is a seperate toilet.We have a toy room and media room on entrance level - 3 further bedrooms and bathroom with seperate toilet are on the ground level.Our pool area has plenty of space to enjoy the surrounding deck ,which also houses a wood fired pizza oven - great as a winter fire. Sonos music system surrounds the pool area and inside the house.We have unlimited broadband internet and netflix.We have table tennis on the bottom deck and pool table in the rumpus area.A weber BBQ is also conveniently located on the top deck ,near the kitchen.

Avoca beach is a beautiful seaside town - with restaurants ,cocktail bar and cinema ,all in walking distance - we are a 20 minute walk to the shops and beach or less than 5 minute drive ..Avoca beach has stunning national parks around the area,walking and outdoor adventure will not disappoint .

We had a lovely house swap over the Australia Day long weekend to Avoca Beach. Their house was gorgeous - spacious, clean, beautiful views, stunning swimming pool. Arranging the swap with Sarah and her family was very easy and straight-forward and they left our house perfect. Our kids enjoyed looking after their lovely dog and chickens.
