Home exchange and house swap holiday accommodation in Coal Point , Coal Point - West Lake Macquarie, NSW
Jenell and Noel are a retired couple and have lived in their family home at Lake Macquarie for 42 years. Of our many interests gardening, travel, sailing and spending time with family and friends take up most of our time. Our five children left home many years ago and now suddenly we have five beautiful grand-daughters to adore. Our first home exchange was in the spectacular Georgian town of Lymington UK. Since then we have experienced many more beautiful places around the world. We love our home and the ever-changing panoramic view of the Lake seen from our Main bedroom, kitchen, dining-room and study. We will look after your home as we know you will look after ours. We are interested in seeing may more places around this exciting world of ours. We will reply to any enquiry.

Description
Lake Macquarie has the enviable reputation of being the largest salt water Lake in Australia.
We have lived in this peaceful law abiding community for 30 years, our neighbours are friendly and helpful. Living on the Lake provides a relaxed style of living. A pleasant activity is a leisurely walk around the foreshore of Coal Point which takes about 60 minutes.
Warners Bay has a superb walking/bicycle track around the Northern edge of the Lake from Speers Point to Valentine.
North to Newcastle, with its working harbour and beautiful surfing beaches. A recent tourist attraction, completed on Anzac Day 2015, is the architect designed Anzac walk, dedicated to those men and women from Newcastle, who lost their lives in WW1.
Whale and Dolphin watching cruises leave from Newcastle and Port Stephens all year round.
Catching a train from our local station Fassifern, to Central or Circular Quay is the easiest and stress free way of visiting Sydney, with the world Heritage Opera House, Harbour bridge framed by the amazing Sydney Harbour.
From Toronto, drive 45minutes West to the Hunter Valley wine country or visit historic Wollombi which is a significant town built during the building of the Great North road by convict labour in the 1800's.

We had a very beautiful stay in Jenell and Noel's home and enjoyed the contact with these two good people. The home is delightfully and stylishly furnished with all the mod cons and the most glorious view possible. There's so much on your doorstep to explore on top of a lovely deck and garden to simply enjoy the view. A wonderful stay.

We had a fabulous time staying in Coal Point. We really enjoyed the spectacular views of Lake Macquarie from the veranda whilst having breakfast. We had the most relaxing weekend. Their communication to organise the swap was excellent. They left our house spotless. I can't recommend a swap with them highly enough and look forward to future swaps with them.
