Home exchange and house swap holiday accommodation in Gladesville, Sydney , NSW
We are a family of 4 who have completed over a dozen house swaps and just love to travel and see new places. When we are not swapping in Aus, we try to get back to visit our family and friends in France, Scotland and Canada as Michael is French and Caroline is Scottish (and squeeze in a few side trips along the way!) Now as naturalised Aussies with two Aussie kids, we try to visit new places in Australia and may even bring along any visiting relatives if we can find a house that can accommodate 4 adults easily. Michael works in tech and several years ago Caroline swapped a career in media for the NFP sector and is now CEO of a social enterprise. We are very familiar with having lots of overseas guests stay in our home so we are very conscious of being respectful of the homes of others. We are always open to long weekend swaps within driving distance of Sydney or otherwise anything longer within NSW school holidays dates.

A beautifully renovated and extended federation weatherboard home in a quiet setting and only 10km from the Sydney city centre, it is perfect for a couple or family.
With renovations completed in December 2022, our home is spacious and modern within the historical 100+ year old structure.
With 4 double bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 2 large living spaces upstairs and downstairs and an ensuite hobby/play room there is plenty of space to enjoy your stay.
Gladesville is a charming suburb surrounded by water on both sides, with a proliferation of cafes and restaurants and is perfectly positioned to access the delights of Sydney by bus (25 minutes), only minutes walk from our front door.
Our home is perfectly set up for a couple or large family with 3 bedrooms in the main house (King bed, single day bed that converts into queen size, single and trundle.)
There is a self contained (kitchen, living area, bathroom and laundry) double storey granny flat in the garden with queen bed.
Children will be kept busy with a range of toys including trampoline and a heated swimming pool.
The master bedroom upstairs is ensuite (with two person shower), a large walk in wardrobe, adjacent TV room (85 inch TV) and study space.
Downstairs the two bedrooms are generously apportioned. There is also an extra downstairs "hobby room" with ensuite bathroom- which we could make up as a sleeping space if required for extended family or larger groups.
The house is great for indoor/outdoor living with rear facing partition doors which fully open up the back of the house onto the outdoor kitchen on the deck. There is a vergola off the granny flat with outdoor sofas adding another entertaining area by the pool.
Virtual tour link of the house is available on request.
We are minutes from two waterfront parks and a shopping village with a supermarket.
We have a very low maintenance cat who will need feeding but stays mostly outdoors during the day.
We look forward to welcoming you to our home.

We had a fabulous stay at Caroline and Michael’s beautiful home in Gladesville! The location was perfect while we visited friends and family in the area after Christmas, it was central to lots of great shopping, dining and recreation options. The house was so comfortable, clean, and spacious with all the amenities you could want. Our kids had a great time using the pool and trampoline, and loved the friendly cat Molly. We had excellent communication before, during and after the stay. Thank you Caroline, Michael and family for a great swap!

We had a lovely long weekend in Drummoyne. This house is very conveniently located with easy access to parks, walks and public transport to get into the city. Communication with Caroline and her family was very easy and they took great care of our house (and dogs).

We had the best holiday at Caroline's family home. My kids rate this house swap as their 'best ever'. The location was fantastic and we had endless fun using the nearby playgrounds, parks, running trails and waterways. We loved the local cafes and shops and it was so easy to get to the city and all of Sydney's great attractions. Would swap again anytime!!
