Home exchange and house swap holiday accommodation in North Perth, PERTH, WA
We are Katie & Sam - Sam is recently retired and Katie is working her way towards it! Since 2015 we have had wonderful house swaps in a variety of Sydney locations and in 2023 we extended to exchanges outside Australia with a wonderful month in a village in the UK & 5 sensational weeks in Barcelona. We recently returned from a swap in the Netherlands, where we discovered a whole new world we previously knew nothing about. House swapping is definitely our preferred option for travel and we are open to traveling wherever house swaps may take us in 2025.

North Perth is a perfect place to live - quiet but close to the city action. It has a wonderful mix of old and new houses as well as old and young people. The mix of people - older people who have lived in the area for decades and young couples and families who have moved into the area more recently - make for an interesting social and cultural population. The gardens reflect this mix with established fig, olive and lemon trees and grapes hanging over fences alongside native gardens. Vegetable gardens flourishing openly on the verges reflect the trusting community atmosphere. Beautiful Hyde Park with its shady Moreton Bay Fig trees is close by for walks and picnics and is a popular spot for festivals and concerts. Our city council of Vincent is progressive encouraging diversity and environmental sustainability. The Saturday morning Farmer's Market in our street is a great place to buy the week's supply of fruit & veges as well as enjoying a yummy breakfast/brunch while enjoying the community atmosphere.
There is no end of fabulous cafes close by which can be accessed by bike or on foot.
The modern and well-equipped Beatty Park Aquatic and Recreation Centre is close by. The North Perth Yoga Room is in the next street.
