We are a family of 5. (plus a grown one that has flown the coop with some Gbabies!) Alana works at a local Church & Giovanni operates his own business working from home. We have 2 boys aged 16 and 14 plus and 12 year old girl. We all share a passion for travel and enjoy house swapping, we have done 9 in the past few years and absolutely loved every moment. All children are used to travelling, Giovanni is Kenyan and we have travelled to Kenya every second year among other locations such as the US, Fiji & Dubai in the past few years precovid! We are very outgoing and enjoy outdoor activities, we love the Cairns lifestyle but love visiting cities too. We usually only travel on or close to school holidays and are always up to suggestions! Giovanni's business partner is in Brisbane so we are always up for a working holiday wherever down in SEQ. We are up for an adventure so hit us up and we can see if it works!

Our house is a large modern old open-plan home. We have a resort-style pool. Situated in a quiet close 15-minute walk to one of Cairns most popular beaches - Trinity Beach. We have 5 bedrooms, 1 king, 1, queen, 5 singles plus airbeds. We have two living areas, a modern kitchen & plenty of space for all!!
We have a portable cot, two booster car seats and an infant car seat. Plus scooters, basketball hoop, bikes, skateboards, toddlers trikes and plenty of toys. We also have a 5 or 7-seater car that we are happy to swap too!

Cairns is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Australia. With the world heritage rainforest and wonderous Great Barrier Reef the weather is always warm and the people are friendly! So many activities to do, snorkel the reef, visit an island, swim on the beach, check out some of our rainforest and waterfalls. The skyrail is just 5 minutes away, Kuranda village just 15 minutes and Port Douglas 40 minutes. We are in a great location to see it all.

Our first house swap was awesome! The house was clean, well appointed and perfect for our family. We loved having use of the pool and scooters. The handover was great and Alana was easy to contact and communicate with. We are looking forward to future swaps!

We have just come back from Alana and Gio's place in Trinity Beach. We had an amazing time, and the swap went really well. Alana has always been really fantastic to interact with - friendly, organised and easy to contact. Alana and family's home is lovely - really spacious, well equipped with a large garden and the pool was massive hit with everyone. We also swapped cars, a first for us, and that was great as we were able to explore the beautiful countryside around Cairns. Thanks for everything!

We were fortunate enough to spend a week in Alana & Giovanni's lovely home in Trinity Beach; about 20 minutes north of Cairns. The house was huge. So for extended families it's really great. The Northern Beaches of Cairns are a lovely place to visit. Also, accessible to the Skyway up into the Tablelands. They have a lovely pool, which was cool and refreshing after undertaking some hill walks. Upon returning to our home (and pet) we could see it were well looked after. Thanks for a great experience.
