We are a young family of five. I'm Caroline, a remedial therapist and beeswax candle maker and my husband Julian is a solicitor in a community legal service. Our beautiful twin girls are 11 and they have a 3 year old sister. We've lived on the Sunshine Coast since 2006 after many years in Brisbane and really love it here! We love travel, food, adventures and being in nature. We are mostly interested in swaps within Australia at this stage (school holidays are best) but are open to enquiries!

The house is one of the original late 50's beach shacks in the area, the house has been extensively renovated and is now a light and airy 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom plus study home in a fantastic, friendly and quiet street. Great back deck and front courtyard with daybed. The main bedroom has a queen size bed and an ensuite, there's a spare bedroom/playroom with a sofa bed, and our girls' room has two single beds. It's well set up for families or couples and has a secure front courtyard and fenced backyard. Located about 1km from the beach, it's about a 12 minute walk from the sand and a 10 minute walk to shops, pub and cafes.

What a wonderful experience it was to swap houses with Caroline and her family on the Sunshine coast. The house was light and bright and had everything you need. The kids loved taking care of the chickens too. The communication in the lead up to the swap and during (if we needed it) was fantastic and it made the whole experience a great one. I would highly recommend a swap with this family.
