The things we love about living here

• We are less than 100metres from the Springwood Conservation Park. This park is home to one of the top things to do in Springwood which is the Springwood stairs of death. 132 stairs climbing from the valley below to the top of the plateau. These stairs are a popular place for people to get some exercise however the whole park is a treat to walk in with numerous tracks throughout. Once in the park you would never know you were in the middle of suburbia. We are also within a couple of kilometers to the Daisy Hill Koala Centre and Conservation Park. This park is much larger and has trails for mountain bikes, horses and walkers. At the koala center visitors can see koalas in close proximity in indoor and outdoor displays. Also you can learn a lot about the park from the informative displays inside. Entrance is free to the centre and the park and there are picnic table and barbecues where you can mingle with the wallabies, lizards and birds. People come from all over Brisbane to bike ride in the Daisy Hill conservation park. Springwood is also home to numerous excellent cafes and restaurants. We will be able to leave our recommendations although they are really all good. I love living here because I walk in the nearby park almost every day. It is also super convenient to get on the freeway and go either north or south. If you prefer public transport, public transport in Queensland is only 50 cents per trip no matter how far you are going. You can go to the Gold Coast or possibly even the Sunshine coast for 50 cents. However the Gold Coast has easier access because there are trains and trams to the Gold Coast.
