Home exchange and house swap holiday accommodation in Sunshine Coast - Buddina, Kawana, QLD
We are a nature-loving, outdoor family with 3 boys aged 14, 12 and 10. Jenny is a physio and Mick is an environmental consultant. A couple of years back we travelled from Perth to Sunshine Coast (home) in a camper trailer, and loved the freedom of being on the road. Of course, now we are keen for more travel. We've had several harmonious house swaps in the past.

We love our comfortable, low set, tiled house with its great backyard for kids. It's walking distance to the river, shops, ocean, park, cafes and restaurants. We get a lovely sea breeze and you can hear the ocean with the predominant wind. The kitchen leads out to a spa and covered outdoor living area. Our neighbourhood is very quiet. We have a rope course in the back yard, and a boxing bag, plus an old pool table, dart board and our dog. (We often take the dog away with us.)

We live in a terrific part of the Sunshine Coast - just 300 metres from Buddina Beach, 500m to the Mooloolah River and 1km to Pt Cartwright with stunning views from Noosa to Caloundra. Whale watching is popular from this point from June to October. We can go surfing, enjoy a SCUBA dive on the HMAS Brisbane wreck, visit Australia Zoo, Under Water World, the Big Pineapple or Eumundi Markets or just stay home and enjoy the excellent climate and leafy back yard.
We have shops, restaurants and the Kawana Surf Club club all withing a short walk from home and Mooloolaba Beach is just a five minute drive.
We have a Canadian canoe to explore the river and a variety of other water craft for your enjoyment.

Jenny and her family were wonderfully generous is allowing us to house sit ( non-simultaneously) over Christmas at their fantastic family home on the Sunshine coast. The house was in a fantastic location walking distance to the beach and in close proximity to local shops, beautiful parks, harbour and walking tracks all within a short stroll .their house was very comfortable and well equipped for our family of 5 and we were easily able to host our extended family for Christmas. Jenny was very relaxed and accommodating about our stay leaving the beds made up and the house tidy. Our boys loved the pool table and the use of the surfboard was an added bonus. What more could you ask for a great Christmas gift ?!
