Profile: Couple
We are a couple with two girls aged 8 and 9, We would love to swap our beach house for a house near to Queenstown or another ski Resort. We don't live in this house, so dates are negotiable. We holiday rent our house out so major dates such as the Easter and Christmas School holidays are often booked out a year in advance.

About our Holiday House / Unit: We have a lovely beachhouse located on Moreton Island, off the Queensland Coast. Our house sleeps 10 people and can be viewed in full at www.tangaloomahouse.com. Our house is a two minute walk to the beach.
Moreton Island can only be accessed by boat and is a sand island so only a 4wd can be used. We are happy to swap our car.
You can get to Moreton Island by either the Moreton Venture, or via a ferry leaving from the Tangalooma Wharf in Brisbane. The boat ride to Moreton Island is approximately 85 minutes from Brisbane. Moreton Island is a National Park as such, no pets are allowed.

Our House is part of Tangalooma Resort where every night a pod of dolphins come to the jetty. Sit back on the jetty, watching the beautiful dolphins play in the crystal clear water under and around the jetty. Also snorkelling and scuba diving is fabulous. The Tangalooma Wrecks are a wonderful place to snorkel and or scuba dive. From July onwards, hump back whales are constantly travelling past Moreton Island. You can do a whale cruise from Tangalooma, a dolphin cruise or a Dugon Cruise.
